Ordering Food using Food Panda
Step 1. Open food Panda App and Set Address
To start ordering food from the foodpanda app, set your address first to your location. Your food will be delivered to this location.
(I have already set the address on your mobile phones so you can skip this step). However, you can continue reading to learn more about this step.
Tap the upper left screen showing the default address.
Tapping this portion of the app, also brings out the Menu of the app. From there tap on addresses
Now click on add new address and set your location.
Step 2. Choose your Restaurant
Foodpanda offers a lot of restaurants to choose for delivery, in this demo we will use Kenny Rogers.
Tap on Search for shops and resturanats at the search bar. You can choose other restaurants by typing their name in the search bar.
Once you type “kenny rogers” a list will pop up, tap on any of the list or tap search.
This will provide you a list of restaurants and related ones that you can order from. Tap on the first result, which is the Kenny Rogers Branch from SM Tanza.
Step 3. Choose your Order
After tapping on the Kenny Rogers SM Tanza restaurant, this will bring a list of all their available food. This is already categorized for easier searching instead of scrolling the whole way down.
In this demo we will order the Classic Healthy Plate.
In foodpanda, you add your selected meals to your cart first before checking out, this allows multiple meals in one order.
To put a meal in our cart tap on selected meal (Classic Healthy Plate).
Then tap add to cart, you may opt for additional options for your meal as well.
Step 4. Checking out your Order
To start checking out our order, Tap on View Cart.
Here you can review your orders before checking out. Once they are to your needs tap on Review payment and address.
In this section, review if your address and payment method are correct. You can edit them before checking out your order.
Once the information are correct, Tap Place Order.
This will bring a window on the status of your order, usually in a sequence of:
- Processing your food
- On the Way
Take note that you need to check your phone on the status of your order once in a while because the rider might call you for directions or is already outside
